Description: The project aimed to design a 96 bedroom hospital in one of the heating dominated climates of Iran. The site had a steep slope towards the main street which was the main driving access to the site. One of the main challenges in design was to meet the program needs of the hospital with tight funding of the owner. Sticking to the minimum space requirements while creating high-quality spaces has been the main design strategy. Also, the construction materials were restricted to available local materials including regional stones and bricks.
